FAIR TIME IS HERE!
It’s Fairtime DonkeyPals!
The Great Geauga County Fair begins August 28 and runs through September 1. Location for our tent this year is still pending but we will assume it will be the same as last year until we hear otherwise. There will be an informal meeting on Wed. August 13 at 6:30 at the fairgrounds to just go over plans, sign up for work shifts and to make sure we have everything at least semi-organized. We will meet by the grandstand. If you cannot make that meeting but want to donate time or material please contact us and let us know what times you will be available for working the tent and I will put you on the chart.
Sunday, August 24th will be the set up day..we will meet at 1pm to get the tent as set up as we possibly can in advance of Wed. night Aug. 27th(when all animals, etc must be in the fairgrounds). All who can make it are asked to show up and bring whatever “stuff” you are donating. For those who cannot make it, please make arrangements to get us your “stuff” in advance!
Please take the time to answer this email and let us know if you will be participating in the fair this year and what you will be able to do and when!! We will hope for great weather like we had last year and we also hope there are as many nice folks stop in to see us and the donks as we had last year, and that we have alot of FUN like we had last year, too!
