Two DonkeyPal members headed down to Lancaster, Ohio for the Classic Donkey Auction on June 29-30. Lori Wargo and Bev Krueger made a field trip out of their jaunt to Lancaster, inspected the consignments on Friday night and went back Saturday morning and bid till they bought what they wanted! Lori brought home to Cabinwood a beautiful Ivory Jennet named Possum with a 5 day old jennet foal at her side. Bev…well…Bev bought something that looked like a black giraffe with ears as long as row boat oars! I do believe it was a yearling standard jennet and her name is BIG Jenny!
It was a fun trip, we made good purchases and hope we can go back next time!
